Design options in Archicad

Archicad developed by Graphisoft, is the industry leading BIM software for architects and construction professionals. Over the course of one year , we have been working on developing a new feature in Archicad called Design options. Design options are the variations in the model in any phase of the project.

Design options as the new key feature.

Each year Graphisoft promises it’s users a set of features to be developed in the next release of Archicad. In 2023, Design options was the key feature delivered.

Collaborating with two other designers, we went through all the design process phases from discovery, user interviews & surveys, user journey mapping, user story mapping with developers and prototyping. 

After the release, we also added more features requested as a followup based on user feedback. Those features were also delivered in 2024.
